Job Description and Duties

Under the general supervision of the Supervising Program Technician II, the Program Technician II (PT II) is responsible for responding to telephone calls and inquiries from the public relating to the various vehicle repair and retirement programs administered by the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) Consumer Assistance Program (CAP). The PT II provides sensitive and detailed information associated with CAP’s vehicle repair and retirement program options. 

 

This is a 12-month limited term position which may be extended to 24 months and/or become permanent.  Multiple positions may become available.

Working Conditions

No specific physical requirements are present: the incumbent works in an office setting, with artificial light and temperature control.  Daily access to and use of a personal computer and telephone is essential.  Sitting and standing requirements are consistent with office work.
