Job Description and Duties

The Associate Government Program Analyst serves as Facilities Development Division’s Legislative analyst and Technical Discipline Meeting and Public Seminar Coordinator. Develop, maintain, adopt, and implement the California Building Standards Code, Code Application Notices, and Policy Intent Notices; develop, maintain, and analyze a database for tracking and monitoring quality management data and information. Legislative analysis; research and analyze existing legislation, statute, code, policy, and procedures in relation to proposed code language; and organize and coordinate the division’s Technical Discipline meetings (Compliance Officer, Fire and Life Safety Officer, Structural Engineer, Architect, Mechanical Engineer, and Electrical Engineer) and public seminars.
