The Department of Business Oversight is recruiting for one limited-term/
full-time (may become permanent) Associate Governmental Program Analyst (Grant Analyst) position in the Education and Outreach Office. Position to be located in the Sacramento office. 

Under the direction of the Education and Outreach Director, Information Officer II, the Grant Analyst will plan, develop, manage, and report on the Department of Business Oversight’s (DBO) CalMoneySmart grant program. Incumbent will be the department’s grant program liaison, assisting grant applicants, promoting the program, coordinating communication and public relations efforts with grant awardees, compiling reports, and managing the logistics for each fiscal year. This position requires excellent time-management skills, a high degree of independence, a significant understanding and experience managing grant programs, and sensitivity to cultural diversity.

Duties include p
lan, coordinate, and manage the DBO’s CalMoneySmart grant program. With assistance of supporting DBO programs, incumbent drafts, reviews, and publishes grant rules, deadlines, and regulations. Manages and maintains the CalMoneySmart webpage. Incumbent is the primary point of contact for grant applicants and the general public, providing assistance with various questions regarding general information, application guidelines, rules, statutory requirements, etc.

Working Conditions

The Sacramento office is currently located in a convenient midtown location within walking distance to light rail, restaurants, Capitol Park, and the Golden 1 Center.  DBO anticipates moving their midtown office to the north Natomas area within the next 4 months. The north Natomas office offers FREE PARKING, is easily accessible from INTERSTATES 5 and 80, and is also close to various dining and shopping choices in the Natomas area.
