Job Description and Duties

Our Investment Office, Private Equity program is currently seeking an Associate Investment Manager (AIM) to be responsible for partial administration of the Private Equity (PE) Program as directed and will coordinate and supervise the work of Investment Officer(s) (IO’s) within their group as directed. This AIM works as a team member of one of the Investment teams of the PE Program, and will report to the Investment Manager of that team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the Private Equity program on sustainability engagement and will be responsible for the development and implementation of private equity sustainability engagement strategy. 
  • This position will require in-depth knowledge of sustainability trends including decarbonization, integration of ESG and D&I factors into investment analysis, and advanced analytics of these factors. 
  • Lead teams for evaluating investments in funds, separate accounts, co-investments, and secondary sales. 
  • Conduct due diligence on proposed investments, evaluating terms, financial statements, legal documents, partnership agreements and other economic characteristics of investment alternatives. 
  • Lead the investment analysis including identifying drivers and detractors of investment performance. 
  • Collaborate with other areas with PE to generate investment ideas that support PE’s planning process. 
  • Participate in a wide spectrum of activities that include evaluating and executing new investments appropriate for the Portfolio.
