Under the administrative direction of the Director of Administrative Services the Human Resources Director is responsible for developing policies and executing human resources activities in support of the overall mission, objectives organizational plan, and strategic direction of Commission on Teacher Credentialing. The Human Resources Manager leads all aspects of human resources management, policies, practices and operations. In addition, the Human Resources Manager, provides strategic support, expert guidance, and creative solutions to Commission on Teacher Credentialing management, while ensuring adherence and compliance with the State of California's civil service laws, rules, and regulations.

Department Information

The Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) is looking for a mission-driven, exceptionally motivated individual to serve as the Manager of the Office of Human Resources (SSMII Supervisor). CTC employs over 150 dedicated individuals who achieve the agency’s mission through licensing the education workforce, setting standards for preparation and accrediting educator preparation programs, and monitoring professional educator conduct. The CTC is a dynamic, high energy work environment, where a team-oriented approach to complex problem solving is encouraged and skills and leadership development of its employees is a priority.
