Job Description and Duties

The Department of Financial Protection and Innovation is recruiting for one Limited Term, Full-time Office Services Supervisor II (OSS II) position in the Legal Division's Securities & Regulation Unit. This position to be located in the Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles or San Diego office. This recruitment may be used to fill subsequent vacancies of these positions within the next 180 days. 

Under supervision of the Staff Services Manager I (SSMI), the Office Services Supervisor II (Remediation Supervisor) will oversee the remediation of the Securities & Regulation Division’s documents. The incumbent will be responsible for supervision and direction of six (6) Office Technician (Typing) performing remediation duties. This will include the creation of dashboards and other systems to allow ongoing, real-time monitoring of the Remediation Team assignments and progress; as well as assist with and perform the more complex remediation of departmental documents, in accordance with ADA WCAG standards 2.0 and PDF/UA to meet compliance with AB434 legislation.

*Position may be extended up to 24 months

Working Conditions

The incumbent must be willing to exercise flexibility and agility as well as be willing to primarily telework (remote work) from home. Telework is subject to DFPI’s Telework Program Policy.

Sacramento Location
: The Sacramento office is located in north Natomas and offers FREE PARKING, is easily accessible from INTERSTATES 5 and 80, and is also close to various dining and shopping choices in the Natomas area. 

San Francisco Location: The San Francisco office is located in the heart of the financial district within walking distance to BART and restaurants.

Los Angeles Location: The Los Angeles office is located in the heart of the downtown financial district within walking distance to restaurants, transit, multiple parking options.
