Job Description and Duties

Are you interested in criminal justice, joining a friendly team and are a student looking to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a motivated college student to join our Imaging and Live Scan Program. Under the close supervision of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Student Assistant will conduct outreach to agencies with their compliance with California live scan audit requirements; run system reports and provide support to analytical and field staff in the Live Scan Support Section. The Student Assistant will identify and research issues regarding live scan systems; assist with agency mail audits; assist with maintaining agency profiles and digitize historical and deleted files. In addition, the Student Assistant will support staff in our Fingerprint Roller Certification Program; assist and participate in Fingerprint Roller Certification training webinars and assist the Records Section of the Imaging and Live Scan Program.
