California Energy Commission seeks an Associate Governmental Program Analyst in the School Stimulus Office in the Renewable Energy Division.

The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) works under the general direction of the Energy Resources Specialist III (Managerial) in the School Stimulus Office of the Renewable Energy Division. The AGPA performs a variety of consultative, complex, analytical, and contract management services to support the California Schools Healthy Air, Plumbing, and Efficiency (CalSHAPE) Program. The CalSHAPE Program provides grants to local educational agencies to test, adjust, repair and upgrade ventilation systems, and to replace noncompliant plumbing fixtures and appliances that fail to meet energy efficiency standards and waste potable water.

Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Serving as the non-technical lead in compiling grant agreement packages for the CalSHAPE Program;
  • Analyzing and making recommendations on issues; ensuring clarity and accuracy of materials; and finalizing and prioritizing materials for meetings. Interacting with internal and external stakeholders and responding to general program inquiries; and
  • Maintaining the CalSHAPE Program’s online presence.
