Final Filing Date: 12/13/2021

Job Description and Duties

About this Role
Do you love using Google Analytics (GA) and Search Console to understand where people get stuck and how you can make their experience better? If you do, consider joining our small, but growing, team at the California Office of Digital Innovation! Working with partners across state government that deliver services and programs to nearly 40 million Californians, you’ll use GA and Search, combined with other large public and commercial datasets (think, U.S. Census) to perform deep-dive analysis across domains, identify where people succeed - or fall off - and make recommendations to inform service design and delivery. You’ll help provide training to partners across departments and support them as they gather, use and apply data to continuously improve the services the state provides to Californians. We’re a remote-first office made up of designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers and you can be located anywhere in California.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at ODI

ODI’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion helps us deliver better government services to the people of California. Diversity inspires better ideas and more innovative thinking. Feeling included nurtures a shared sense of community and collective action to take on more challenging problems. Prioritizing equity ensures we focus on those who are overlooked when we seek to understand people’s needs and build solutions. We acknowledge our history and present of implicit and structural injustice, bias and discrimination. We see, hear and accept each other as each of us brings our lived experiences to our work. We give each other the support to learn and thrive so we can help all Californians thrive. We understand this work is never done so we commit to constant improvement.

This position provides telework opportunities, including the ability to work fully remote.
