Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Director of the Department of Water Resources (DWR), the Staff Services Manager II (Managerial) serves as a Policy Advisor to the Directorate and has significant responsibility for formulating and administering Departmental policies and natural resources management programs. The incumbent provides advice to the Directorate and performs a multitude of tasks in support of the Administration's initiatives to further the mission of the Department.

Department of Water Resources (DWR) was established in 1956 by the California State Legislature.  We manage California’s water resources, systems, and infrastructure, including the State Water Project, in a responsible sustainable way.
