Under general direction, plans, organizes, and directs original research study of moderate scope and complexity, or a highly specialized phase of a project or programs; The incumbent reports to an Administrator I.

Department Information

The Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) is conveniently located in the downtown area near many popular restaurants, shops, public transportation, and affordable parking options.  The purpose of the CTC is to ensure integrity and high quality in the preparation, conduct and professional growth of the educators who serve California's public schools.  Its work shall reflect both statutory mandates that govern the Commission and research on professional practices.  

Telework opportunities will be considered for this position.

Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

Experience working with data collection, data warehouses, and developing data dashboards, a working knowledge of Tableau and Excel, and a familiarity with SQL and a statistical package.  Knowledge of strategic planning principles and concepts in order to lead or participate in unit/division strategic planning session, project management principles to monitor project progress, and conduct final project evaluation.
