Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Assistant Deputy Director for the Community and Local Equity Grants Unit, the Staff Services Manager I (Supervisor) is responsible for the daily management of the unit’s professional staff who administer the California Community Reinvestment Grants program and the Cannabis Equity Grants Program for Local Jurisdictions. The incumbent also serves as a subject matter expert and assists the Assistant Deputy Director and the Deputy Director with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines for the unit’s grant programs.

Working Conditions

  • Travel may be required up to 10%.
  • Telework Information:  Remote Centered - this position is eligible for full-time telework schedule under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California but may require reporting in-person at headquarters in Sacramento upon request, or applicants may choose to work a hybrid telework schedule.
