In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
• Knowledge and experience in the State administration process, fiscal and budget analysis, and funds management
• Proficient in MS software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Poses knowledge and experience of basic principles of accounting procedures and methods used by private or public agencies and organizations of State Government; applicable laws, contracts, rules, and statutes
• Effectively analyze data
• Organized, self-starter, detail oriented, ability to multi-task complex fiscal projects
• Ability to resolve concerns at the lowest possible level, complete tasks and provide a quality work product with minimal supervision
• Communicate effectively and tactfully (verbally and in writing) when interacting with internal/external staff throughout the state and the general public
• Work individually and/or in a team environment
• Excellent customer service
• Positivity in a changing, exciting environment
• Possess proficient writing and grammar skills
