Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the SSM II/Bureau Chief, the SSM I plans, organizes, and directs the work of analytical staff who are responsible for workload associated with the development, maintenance and delivery of CPMB specific training for Community Care Licensing Division(CCLD) staff and external engaged partners.

Applicants with knowledge of CCLD licensing laws, regulations and procedures, Guardian Background Check System, Licensing Program Information System (LIS), and the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and other common software programs are highly desirable and will be given priority consideration. Working Conditions

The SSM I position requires adaptability to a hybrid work schedule, with potential adjustments based on business needs. CPMB is in Rancho Cordova with free parking on-site. Many restaurants including Starbucks, Sandwich Spot and Subway are located within one mile of the office.

This position is eligible for hybrid work in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order N-22-25 and at the sole discretion of the Department of Social Services under California Government Code Section 14200. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be re-evaluated at any time.  The incumbent will be expected to report for in office work and attend work related in-person events as deemed operationally necessary. Telework does not change the terms and conditions of employment, the essential functions of job duties, or required compliance with the CDSS policies.  The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
