The mission of the California Department of Social Services is to serve, aid and protect needy and vulnerable children and adults in ways that strengthen and preserve families, encourage personal responsibility and foster independence. Through the Guardian Management System, the Care Provider Management Branch (CPMB) serves, aids, and protects the most vulnerable persons associated to our agencies and registries by processing background checks that meet all State and Federal mandates in an equitable manner. CPMB is seeking a motivated individual with strong leadership skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, experience with engaged partners and the ability to adapt, evaluate and be part of a changing organizational structure.
