In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
Knowledge of: Developing audio, animation, and social media video content while being proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.) and captioning tools. Creating video, audio, and graphics that are ADA accessible and meet State standards for public distribution. Strong understanding of motion graphics and visual storytelling. Ability to: Demonstrate experience in professional video production, including pre-production, filming, editing, and post-production workflows. Have experience interviewing and engaging with diverse stakeholders, as well as creating linguistically and culturally responsive videos. Think clearly, analyze problems thoroughly, and take effective action. Collaborate, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Consistently demonstrate professionalism, tact, and good judgment in a variety of situations. Handle sensitive and confidential information with the appropriate level of discretion and responsibility. Operate and transport a range of high-quality video, lighting, audio, and studio equipment.
