The Grant Services Branch (GSB) within the Office of Fiscal
Services (OFS) is expanding its newly established Grant Management Unit (GMU)
and is seeking motivated, detail-orientated, and forward-thinking individuals
to join our growing team as a Grant Support Analyst. This is an exciting
opportunity to help shape how the California Department of Justice (DOJ)
supports and oversees its statewide grant programs. If you like collaborating

The DOJ offers a flexible telework environment that supports
work-life balance, and this position offers a hybrid telework schedule, with
the ability to work remotely and report to the office as needed based on
operational requirements. The successful candidate must be available to report
to the office in Sacramento as directed by management or for essential
in-person meetings, trainings, or assignments.
As part of the GMU, you’ll play a key role in advancing
DOJ’s efforts to strengthen public safety and community partnerships through
effective grant management and fiscal accountability.

Under the general direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst I performs a variety of analytical, technical, and administrative tasks in support of DOJ’s statewide grant programs.
The Analyst I will:
- Assist with tracking and researching grant funding sources, legislation, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in process improvement efforts, contributing ideas for streamlining workflows and enhancing communication.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely submission and proper recordkeeping of grant-related materials.
- Demonstrate strong organization, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and adaptability while managing multiple assignments.
