In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
• Knowledge of and experience with the State of California’s procurement process, including policies and procedures
• Experience in conducting procurement-related research.
• Experience communicating effectively both orally and in writing with colleagues, stakeholders, community/business partners, consumers, and the public.
• Ability to utilize strong organizational skills to prioritize and complete assigned activities by due dates.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to unexpected situations
• Experience working independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow approved Departmental policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
