In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
We are looking for applicants that possess knowledge and/or experience in the following areas:
(1) water resource or environmental science specific to surface water, water quality, fisheries, hydrology, and/or other related environmental resources;
(2) California Environmental Quality Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission licensing process, and/or other state and federal environmental regulations;
(3) project management and ability to effectively and timely address multiple high priority tasks;
(4) experience working with stakeholders including processes and collaboration with diverse team environments towards resolving complex issues;
(5) excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills;
(6) the ability to work independently and in group settings on complex environmental resource issues.
