ANALYST II – SIERRA DISTRICT / LAKE TAHOE SECTOR / ED Z’BERG SUGAR POINT STATE PARK

The reporting location of this position is Lake Tahoe Sector Office located at Sugar Pine Point State Park, Tahoma, CA. This position will work under the direction of the Supervisor I.
The incumbent serves as the District’s lead personnel analyst and is responsible for district-wide personnel administration including appointments, separations, payroll and timekeeping through TEMPO, benefits, personnel records, and the employee housing program. The position acts as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for personnel-related matters and works closely with supervisors and Headquarters to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant personnel services.
The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, well organized, and able to work independently with a high level of discretion and judgment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
