Ability to interpret and apply provisions of the California Real Estate Law and the laws governing subdivided lands, related legal opinions and court decisions, and departmental policies, rules, and regulations. Ability to plan, organize, communicate, adapt to changing assignments and establish and maintain project priorities, work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines, with effective time-management and organizational skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to gather and analyze data and present ideas and information effectively with individuals at all levels of government, the public, and the Real Estate Industry. Self-starter, with excellent analytical skills with demonstrated ability to work independently, think logically and creatively, apply a range of analytical and research tools, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, make sound recommendations, and identify and resolve issues, both technical and interpersonal, and navigate complex situations. Strong leadership skills to guide teams, manage stakeholders, and drive results. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the work of subordinates with a deep understanding of the principles of personnel supervision, development, training and management.
