STATE PARK PEACE OFFICER SUPERVISOR (RANGER) – INLAND EMPIRE DISTRICT / LAKE PERRIS STATE RECREATION AREA
The reporting location for this position is Lake Perris SRA located at 17801 Lake Perris Drive, Perris, CA. This position will work under the direction of the State Park Superintendent III.
The State Park Peace Officer Supervisor's main assignments include oversight and management of the Visitor Services program, supervising rank-and-file State Park Peace Officers, and managing park operations to include public safety, aquatic activities, visitor complaints, and training compliance.
This is a very diverse assignment full of challenges ranging from a high frequency of law enforcement and medical calls for service, working in the state's largest campground with many classifications, fulfilling our department's goals of connecting with youth and underserved communities, and providing access to all.

Special Requirement/Condition of Employment: Depending on the assigned location, the incumbent may be required to occupy state-owned housing to meet operational needs, or may be offered state-owned housing if available.
