Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to appointment. To satisfy the minimum qualification requirement with education, you must include your unofficial transcript(s)/diploma for initial review. Original diploma or official, sealed transcripts will be required prior to the start date. Applicants with foreign transcript(s)/degree(s) must provide a third-party transcript/degree credential evaluation that indicates the number of units to which the foreign coursework is equivalent.
The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) serves as documentation of each applicant’s ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. Place the questions in-line and numbered accordingly with your answers. The SOQ must be typed, no more than two pages in length, and 12-point Arial font.
1. Describe your experience designing, implementing, and maintaining an enterprise level network security architecture. Please provide specific examples of security solutions you have deployed and managed.
2. Detail a complex network security incident breach or critical vulnerability where you acted as a technical lead. Outline your methodology for identification, containment, eradication, and recovery back to normal operations.
3. Describe your experience leading and mentoring a technical team to take ownership of their domains. Provide a specific example of how you facilitated a team member or team as a whole to identify a major operational bottleneck or security gap and mentored them through the process.
