This position is a hybrid position and will require in office presence three (3) days a week.

State Compensation Insurance Fund’s Mail & Print Services Program is recruiting for a Supervisor II (Sup II) in Fresno — a second-level leadership role responsible for guiding Supervisors and staff across Centralized, Local Print, and Regional Mail Operations, the CARE Print Admin Console, and Electronic Delivery of Mail. This position ensures consistent, high-quality operations aligned with corporate procedures and State Fund’s enterprise goals.

About the role:

  • Ensure operational continuity and be available after hours and during emergencies to support timely mail processing and critical service delivery.
  • Coach and develop Supervisors and staff; model State Fund’s Leadership Competencies and foster a positive, safety-focused culture.
  • Support leaders as they participate in high-priority operational projects; ensure alignment with governance standards and statewide operational goals (leaders participate — they do not lead).
  • Recruit, hire, train, develop, appraise, and discipline your direct reports; provide second-level leadership to ensure Supervisors effectively perform these responsibilities for their teams.
  • Ensure safety, quality, compliance, and service standards are met across Centralized, Local Print, and Regional Mail operations, including the CARE Print Admin Console and Electronic Delivery of Mail.

Required Skills and Leadership Capabilities:
  • Model State Fund’s Leadership Competencies.
  • Work onsite as needed (hybrid).

  • Take ownership of each customer contact to address needs and support State Fund objectives.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively, verbally and in writing.
  • Review, analyze, and prioritize incoming work.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
