Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Infrastructure and Operations Manager (Information Technology Manager I), the Information Technology Supervisor II acts as the CCC IT Help Desk supervisor with responsibilities that include the planning, organizing and directing of all Help Desk activities, as well as act as a lead for end user technologies. The incumbent and their team are responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of the department’s desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Incumbent will also supervise and lead the first and second level service desk staff, and any associated technology management. Travel may be required.

The duties for this position are focused in the Client Services domain, however, work may be assigned in other domains as needed, such as Information Security, System Engineering, as well as Software Engineering. System Engineering responsibilities include operation and maintenance of network, server, storage, operating system, database, hardware, and software systems.

Working Conditions

This position is classified as “Hybrid” and is currently eligible for up to one day of telework per week.

The reporting location for this position is at CCC HQ located at 1719 24th Street, Sacramento, CA 95816.

The career center is located in the heart of Downtown Sacramento in the brand new CNRA headquarters building.   • Experience leading a technical team with diverse personalities and technical ability

  • Experience monitoring IT trouble tickets, including meeting SLAs, and escalations as necessary 
  • Experience as lead of IT device management platforms (i.e. Microsoft Intune, Meraki MDM, etc) 
  • Experience supporting modern Windows Operating Systems – Windows 11 
  • Experience administering Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and Active Directory/Entra 
  • Experience supporting a geographically dispersed business environment including remote office locations and teleworking 
  • Experience with supporting executives and their staff in managing confidential and urgent issues 
  • Ability to occasionally travel to remote locations to support customers 
  • Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service 
  • Ability to work collaboratively to resolve technical issues 
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and manage changing priorities 
  • Ability to find creative solutions to technical and non-technical challenges

Salary Information
