· Experience developing and analyzing complex statistical reports using data systems such as BreEZe, QBIRT, IBM Cognos Analytics, or similar reporting tools.
· Strong knowledge of data validation techniques, data integrity standards, and performance measure development.
· Experience analyzing large and complex datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and operational improvements.
· Knowledge of business process analysis and the ability to develop and implement process improvements in a regulatory or governmental environment.
· Experience coordinating with technical staff (e.g., IT or system developers) to develop business requirements, system enhancements, and reporting solutions.
· Knowledge of the Business and Professions Code, California Code of Regulations, and administrative enforcement processes.
· Experience conducting complex, sensitive, or high-impact investigations, including evidence gathering, analysis, and report writing.
· Ability to integrate investigative findings with program data to support enforcement decisions and policy development.
· Experience developing and delivering training, technical guidance, or written procedures to staff.
· Ability to supervise staff within a unit, manage multiple priorities, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex data and recommendations to executive management.
· Knowledge of Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) programs, systems, and reporting requirements is highly desirable.
