Patton State Hospital, Human Resources Department, is accepting applications for at least one (1) Permanent Full-Time Nursing Coordinator position. May also consider a highly qualified Supervising Registered Nurse. The Nursing Coordinator will be assigned to the Medical Services Department under the direction of the Chief of Primary Care.
The incumbent will coordinate medical support services to meet the treatment needs of DSH-Patton, including radiology, medical and surgical clinics, external medical appointments, employee health, audiology, physical and occupational therapy, speech therapy, laboratory services, and medical equipment. Responsibilities also include maintaining departmental manuals, coordinating policy updates to support quality care and regulatory compliance, assisting the Chief of Primary Care Services with the development of contracts, and serving as a liaison to external providers.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills. Candidates should possess the ability to promote teamwork, effectively support staff, and apply knowledge of hospital policies, and procedures. A strong commitment to delivering safe, effective, and high-quality patient care is essential.
