Candidates should also have experience leading the development of new projects, working with the public and government agencies, and working in a team environment to improve programs and systems and provide constructive review of policy and technical products from other staff members or program partners. The most competitive applicants will have the demonstrated ability to anticipate program needs and initiate solutions, write concisely and effectively in everyday language, communicate persuasively with agency, industry and community members, critically evaluate technical data and perform accurate analyses with limited information, generate high-quality products in short timeframes, and work productively in project teams, both as a team member and a team leader.
