The Information Technology Specialist I is a dynamic member of a progressive development unit that is enthusiastic and excited about implementing cutting edge software. Working Conditions

Two story building with standard office workspace. Requires sitting for long periods of time while using a personal computer, reviewing documents, and attending meetings in designated areas. The position requires occasional travel to off-site meeting locations, conferences, or training. The work environment is fast paced, can be demanding and/or stressful, and requires the incumbent to be flexible, use good time management practices, and effectively identify priorities to complete assignments timely. May require periodic work during non-standard hours and during weekends to meet workload needs.

Knowledge and experience with child support enforcement and child support program applications. Ambitious, cutting-edge, and excited about transforming ideas into long-term technical solutions. Highly talented developer that is focused on the successful implementation of long-term software development solutions using an Agile methodology. Ability to guide junior developers in new technologies and approaches to software development on a large-scale application. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and make decisions. Ability to readily accept the challenges of working in a constantly changing environment. Strong organizational and planning skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities. Leadership skills, including the ability to promote trust and credibility with customers and peers. Ability to identify technology solutions to improve business processes. Project lead experience. Proficient in developing Java objects and JEE components using an Integrated Development Environment (IDE), preferably Rational Application Developer (RAD). Proficient in SQL, including ETL technologies and experience with database frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate. Knowledge or experience in mobile application development. Experience with and/or knowledge of web development framework technologies such as REST and SOAP, User Interface (UI) development and other web- based technologies such as HTML5, XML, JSP, and Struts framework. Knowledge of document development using tools such as Adobe ES3, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Oracle Hyperion. Experience with and/or knowledge of AngularJS, Bootstrap, Git, .Net and SQL Server. Knowledge of batch processing and experience with batch monitoring tools such as Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS). Experience with CA Technologies tools such as Agile Central (formerly Rally) and DevTest Services Virtualization. Experience with working on a large IT project/application involving complex system(s) and business and technical processes utilizing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); particularly using Agile methodologies and frameworks. Experience with writing system documentation. Familiarity with current IT technologies, tools, best practices, and methodologies (e.g. Agile). Ability to work successfully in a team environment while demonstrating initiative, integrity, ownership, and accountability. Ability to convey complex ideas and information in a logical and accurate manner. Experience with and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Strong leadership skills that include the ability to engage, develop, and mentor junior developers. Ability to analyze, examine and evaluate data, and present alternatives. Ability to focus and perform in high pressure situations.
