Job Description and Duties

Do you enjoy working with the public and providing excellent customer service, while being part of a team? The Care Provider Management Bureau (CPMB) is seeking three (3) professional, energetic, and qualified individuals who have a desire to learn and develop their skills.

Under the supervision of a CPMB Staff Services Manager I, the Seasonal Clerk is responsible for administrative duties that support CPMB.  Duties include opening and distributing mail, providing ongoing telephone support to the public, filing, and other related assignments.The Seasonal Clerk would assist a team that is responsible for conducting background checks to determine whether individuals should be allowed to be present in a licensed care facility.

Working Conditions

The Care Provider Management Bureau is a one-story building located in Rancho Cordova, with free on-site parking. Restaurants including Starbucks, Subway, and Sandwich Spot are located within one mile of the office. Easy access to Highway 50, Elk Grove and the American River bike trail.

Special Requirements

Training and Development assignments may be considered based on the availability of eligible candidates and are subject to approval by the Hiring Authority prior to appointment. Training and Development assignments are considered limited term, 12 months, and may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.
