Job Description and Duties

Are you a creative problem solver with critical thinking skills? Then this is the position for you! The Department of Justice, Office of Human Resources is looking for a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a positive team environment to join our Operations Team.

Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) provides the full range of the more complex and varied analytical duties including, but not limited to, contract management, interagency agreements, and medical/drug screening for potential departmental candidates. The AGPA independently analyzes program needs and composes Scope of Works for solicitation packages and contracts. The AGPA also serves as a liaison to the Division of Operations (OPS), Office of Fiscal Services (OFS) to assist in composing all contract advertising and solicitation packages (including Invitations for Bid, Requests for Proposal, and certified small business informal price quotes), exemptions from advertising requests and justifications, contract amendments, and contract renewals. Independently responds to agency correspondence concerning contract issues (e.g., overbilling/under billing, outside of the scope of agreement, etc.). Prepares invoice disputes regarding non-timely payment issues, and prepares monthly billing spreadsheets for submission to the OPS, OFS. Consults with OHR staff and contract agencies, analyzes information received, and resolves billing disputes.
