State Fund is seeking career-minded professionals to serve in multiple locations in California as full-time permanent Workers' Compensation Insurance Specialists in Premium Audit and Small Commercial Operations. Small Commercial Operations and Premium Audit are high volume, fast-paced environments that require the use of technical knowledge, ability to analyze information from multiple sources, and the application of superior judgment.
Under general supervision of a Manager I, the incumbent will:
- Perform the full range of duties necessary to conduct payroll audits and underwrite, quote, and service accounts
- Review new and renewing accounts for accurate pricing of workers compensation insurance policies for California's employers
- Engage in auditing payroll records to verify and determine correct payroll and employment classifications
- Coordinate policyholder servicing and maintenance, and participate on special projects as assigned
The Workers' Compensation Insurance Specialist position is remote-centered or office based, and will be filled at a Statewide level. Candidates must have permanent residence in California.
